The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology in Oman has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AONH Private Holdings to develop advanced chips and semiconductors for artificial intelligence (AI). This project aims to enhance the semiconductor industry in Oman by localizing advanced technologies, developing a specialized national workforce, attracting international investments, and bringing global expertise to the field. The initiative will support Oman’s efforts to position itself as a key player in the global AI and semiconductor sectors.
