Since its launch, the company has gained approximately 14% market share and increased its customer base by 18% year-on-year.
The company has also achieved significant progress in its 5G rollout, with its NEXT LEVEL 5G network now covering over 98% of Oman’s population, marking the fastest nationwide 5G expansion in the country’s history. Vodafone Oman’s growth is a testament to its strategic vision, digital-first approach, and commitment to customer experience. Unlike traditional telecom operators, Vodafone Oman entered the market as a cloud-based, digital-native operator, ensuring agility, efficiency, and seamless service delivery.
In 2024, the company’s revenue grew by 58%, reflecting its ability to scale while maintaining strong operational efficiencies. Eng. Bader Al Zidi, CEO of Vodafone Oman, emphasized that the company’s growth is measured not only in numbers but also in trust, customer experiences, and lasting impact on Oman’s economy.
A key factor in Vodafone Oman’s success has been its ability to meet evolving customer needs, expanding its BLACK and RED offerings for greater flexibility and value. The company also strengthened its market position through strategic partnerships, including a long-term agreement with Friendi Mobile to transition over 700,000 customers to Vodafone’s 5G network.
Vodafone Oman’s expansion has had a tangible economic impact, with an In-Country Value (ICV) contribution exceeding RO63 million in 2024. Over the past three years, its total ICV investment has reached RO180 million, prioritizing Omani SMEs, local businesses, and national talent development.
Looking ahead, Vodafone Oman is committed to enhancing cybersecurity with the launch of CyberSafe, a comprehensive solution for digital protection.
