Algeria’s National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADL) is set to launch a digital platform next week to streamline the “AADL 3” housing program. The platform, announced by AADL’s Director General Riad Guemdani, will enable over 1.4 million applicants to update their personal information and track the progress of their housing requests online.
The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to transparency and efficiency, making the application process more accessible while reducing bureaucratic delays. Applicants will be able to correct errors in their personal data and follow their application status in real time, eliminating the need for physical visits.
AADL 3 will cover all 58 wilayas and will focus on affordable, modern, and sustainable housing. The program involves specialized engineering firms and young Algerian graduates to ensure high-quality urban development. The government remains dedicated to keeping housing prices affordable, with flexible payment plans extending from 360 to 420 months.
Since 2022, the government has delivered over 1.7 million housing units, with significant emphasis on rural housing to support agricultural development and prevent rural exodus. The government continues to prioritize social housing, with 480,000 units dedicated to low-income families, ensuring adherence to international construction standards.
The launch of the AADL 3 digital platform marks a transformative step towards modernizing Algeria’s public administration and enhancing housing management, reflecting the country’s broader ambitions for digital governance and service-oriented public policies.
