The Algerian start-up “Nrecycli” has been awarded the “Youth Social Entrepreneurs Award” in Doha, Qatar, for its innovative project aimed at addressing plastic waste management in Algeria. The award, presented by the Arab foundation “Mentor Arabia,” recognizes initiatives led by youth across the Arab world, particularly in social, environmental, and educational sectors.
In the fourth edition of the awards, Nrecycli showcased its ambitious project focused on reducing plastic waste in Algeria and promoting a more sustainable future. The company has been conducting a PET (recycled plastic) collection initiative in Algiers and Blida since 2019, collaborating with local stakeholders.
Nrecycli is a Green-Tech start-up that develops digital solutions within the circular economy, working to enhance recycling rates and create a sustainable ecosystem by linking stakeholders in line with circular economy principles.
