Ooredoo Unveils Obot, a GPT-4 Powered AI Assistant, at Web Summit Qatar 2025 in Collaboration with Microsoft

Ooredoo Qatar, in partnership with Microsoft, introduced “Obot”, a groundbreaking AI-powered digital assistant, at Web Summit Qatar 2025. The chatbot, which leverages the GPT-4 model with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), aims to transform customer service by providing personalized, efficient, and seamless interactions. Obot assists with tasks such as scheduling appointments, tracking orders, and offering recommendations, with future availability across Ooredoo’s website, app, WhatsApp, Facebook, and more.

At the summit, Obot was showcased through live demonstrations, highlighting its capabilities in providing instant guidance and learning from user interactions. The AI assistant will be available in both English and Arabic, further enhancing accessibility for Ooredoo’s diverse customer base.

Sheikh Ali Bin Jabor Al Thani, CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, emphasized that the collaboration with Microsoft marks a significant step towards improving personalized customer engagement.
