beIN MEDIA GROUP Extends Partnership with F1 ACADEMY™ to Broadcast All-Female Motorsport Series Across MENA and Türkiye Until 2033

DOHA, QATAR – beIN MEDIA GROUP (beIN), a global leader in sports, entertainment, and media, has renewed its broadcast agreement with Formula 1 for the F1 ACADEMY™, extending it across the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and Türkiye until 2033. The third season of this groundbreaking all-female driver category, which focuses on nurturing young female talent for the highest levels of motorsport, kicks off later this month.

For the 2025 season, F1 ACADEMY will feature a competitive grid of 18 drivers, including ten new full-time participants alongside seven returning drivers. The season will consist of 14 races across seven rounds, with one Wild Card entry joining the grid at each round.

The season’s opening race will take place in Shanghai from 21-23 March, followed by events in Jeddah, Miami, Montreal (hosting its first-ever F1 ACADEMY race), a return to the Netherlands’ Circuit Zandvoort, Singapore, and culminating in the first-ever Las Vegas season finale from 20-22 November.

All seven rounds will be broadcast live on beIN SPORTS in English, Arabic, and Turkish, with streaming available on beIN’s OTT platform, TOD. Viewers will also enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews with drivers and team personnel, hosted by beIN’s renowned F1 reporter, Stephany Saad.

The eight-year extension of beIN’s partnership with F1 ACADEMY, coinciding with International Women’s Day 2025, emphasizes the importance of the series within beIN’s women’s sports portfolio. It further strengthens beIN’s beINSPIRED initiative, launched in 2019, which champions underrepresented sports and female athletes by providing them with a larger platform.

Richard Verow, Chief Sports Officer at beIN MEDIA GROUP
“The extension of our partnership with F1 ACADEMY in MENA and Türkiye aligns perfectly with our beINSPIRED corporate commitment. Our goal is to elevate female athletes, enhance their visibility, and ensure they receive the media recognition they deserve. We are proud to continue supporting diversity and inclusion within motorsport, making beIN the home of F1 in the region.”

F1 ACADEMY is just one example of the numerous women’s sports that beIN broadcasts, as part of the beINSPIRED initiative. The group’s portfolio also includes prominent competitions such as UEFA Women’s EURO, UEFA Women’s Champions League, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and more. In 2025, beIN SPORTS will showcase top female athletes across multiple sports, including tennis and Premier Padel.
