Omantel has announced a collaboration with TeKnowledge, a global leader in AI, Customer Experience, and Cybersecurity solutions, to launch an advanced AI and Data Science skilling program aimed at equipping its employees with essential digital skills. This initiative is part of Omantel’s strategy to support the country’s digital transformation and economic diversification.
The program will provide both onsite training at Omantel’s headquarters and virtual learning opportunities to ensure an interactive and hands-on experience for all participants. The focus is on AI, data analytics, and other future technologies, helping Omantel’s workforce address real-world challenges while exploring new opportunities.
Mohammed Ahmed Al-Riyami, Omantel’s General Manager of Talent Management, emphasized that the initiative is central to Omantel’s strategy for leading in AI-driven solutions and fostering innovation.
