Royal Rapchee, a new Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming platform, has launched with a mission to offer premium and affordable content across South Asia and the Middle East. Operated by Royal Rapchee Visual Recorded Media Distribution LLC and based in Dubai, the service aims to redefine entertainment by providing a wide range of movies, dramas, web series, documentaries, and exclusive original productions.
At the launch event, Founder and Managing Director Dharam Gupta emphasized the platform’s commitment to showcasing fresh talent, giving emerging artists the opportunity to reach global audiences. “Our goal is to bring quality entertainment at an affordable price while giving new artists a platform to shine,” he said.
Initially launching in the UAE, Pakistan, and India, Royal Rapchee plans to expand into Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and several Middle Eastern markets, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. The company also announced plans to release 100 new songs by the end of 2025, further strengthening its position in the entertainment sector.
With an initial investment of AED 50 million from UAE-based Royal Cut Investment, the platform is set to offer a cost-effective alternative to existing digital entertainment services. Key features include AI-driven personalized recommendations, high-speed streaming, and offline viewing options.
Subscription plans are priced to cater to a wide range of users, starting at AED 5 per month for the Silver Plan, AED 15 for the Gold Plan, and AED 45 for the premium Platinum Plan. With a focus on family-friendly and culturally relevant content, Royal Rapchee is poised to become a significant player in the region’s growing digital media landscape, offering an exciting alternative to mainstream streaming services.
