Saudi Arabia Invites Public to Vote for National Projects in ITU WSIS Prizes 2025

The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) is calling on the public to vote for Saudi Arabia’s projects competing in the 2025 World Summit on the Information Society (ITU WSIS Prizes). The initiative aims to support national projects on the global stage and promote digital development across various sectors.

According to a press release from the CST, Saudi Arabia is participating in 18 categories that recognize outstanding applications and achievements in leveraging communications and technology to fulfill WSIS outcomes and advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The country has submitted 24 projects from 16 governmental and private organizations.

Public voting is open until April 30, 2025, through the official ITU website. Since the competition’s inception in 2012, Saudi Arabia has won 14 awards and received 38 certificates of excellence. The ITU-organized competition annually recognizes digital initiatives that contribute to building the information society and advancing sustainable development.
