WorldLink Introduces Self-Service 3-Day Extension for Internet Users via App and SMS

WorldLink has introduced a new feature allowing users to extend their internet service by three days through the company’s app or via SMS. This update comes as part of a revision to the company’s previous policy regarding service validity extensions.

In a Facebook update, WorldLink announced that previously, the company would automatically extend service for three days once a customer’s payment period expired and the service was disabled. However, with the new system, after the payment period ends and the internet is disabled, users now have the option to extend the service themselves through the app or SMS, providing added convenience.

This change allows users to continue using the service even if they are unable to immediately pay the renewal charge. In the past, WorldLink extended the service from the company’s side, but now customers can extend it themselves, giving them a grace period to make payments without losing connectivity.

For example, if a customer’s WorldLink package expires on Chaitra 20, they can extend it by three days, making it valid until Chaitra 22. If they then renew for 30 days, they will get an active connection for 27 days instead.

How to Extend WorldLink Internet via MyWorldLink App and SMS:

Via the MyWorldLink App:

  1. Open the MyWorldLink app.
  2. Tap on “Extend Plan” (This option may appear soon if it’s not visible yet).

Via SMS:

  1. Open your phone’s messaging app.
  2. Type: WL extend “username” (e.g., WL extend internet_fpkhr) and send it to 35465.

Once either action is completed, the internet service is extended by three days.

This update is part of WorldLink’s ongoing effort to improve customer satisfaction and enhance the user experience. With over a million users, WorldLink continues to be a leader in Nepal’s internet service provider industry, strengthening its customer relationships with added flexibility and convenience.
