Vodafone Business and Maroc Telecom Collaborate to Drive Digital Transformation in Morocco

Vodafone Business and Maroc Telecom have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to provide advanced connectivity and digital services to enterprise customers in Morocco. The initial phase will focus on smart city and energy management solutions, strengthening Vodafone’s presence in eight African countries through Vodacom and supporting Morocco’s goal of becoming a digital hub by 2030.

The partnership will expand to include a wide range of enterprise solutions, such as Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN), Mobile Private Networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity. It will offer businesses a unique blend of Vodafone’s global connectivity and digital platforms, combined with Maroc Telecom’s local expertise, tailored to meet Morocco’s regulatory and business requirements.

The partnership will also support Maroc Telecom’s multi-national and regional customers across sectors like logistics, manufacturing, retail, and public services, offering a unified portfolio of managed services that can be scaled across multiple markets. Both companies will provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales support, including billing, implementation, and management, with a strong focus on customer success.

This agreement also strengthens Vodafone Business’s ongoing strategic relationship with e&, a partnership that spans Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In October 2023, Vodafone Business and e& announced plans to collaborate with multinational enterprise customers to leverage their combined services and geographic reach.

Fanan Henriques, Product & International Business Director at Vodafone Business, stated, “By partnering with Maroc Telecom, we can accelerate the adoption of new digital services in Morocco, supporting the country’s digital ambitions. Maroc Telecom’s local expertise, coupled with Vodafone’s scalable platforms, will foster the development of fintech, healthcare, and industrial applications, driven by Morocco’s dynamic youth workforce and startup culture.”
