Huawei Nepal Opens Applications for ‘Seeds for the Future 2025’ CSR Programme for Nepali Students

Huawei Nepal has officially opened applications for its global flagship CSR programme, ‘Seeds for the Future 2025,’ aimed at cultivating digital talent in Nepal. The initiative, under the theme ‘Building a Fully Connected, Intelligent World by Cultivating Digital Talent,’ is specifically designed for undergraduate students studying Information Technology at colleges and universities across Nepal.

The application window runs from May 8 to 25. The programme targets undergraduate students interested in innovation, digitalization, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and cultural exchange. This marks the sixth edition of the programme in Nepal, which has been running since 2019. To date, 150 students from Nepal have participated.

Eligible applicants will go through a multi-stage evaluation process before being selected by a panel of judges. The top-performing students will have the opportunity to travel to China for advanced training sessions and regional competitions. During their stay in China, students will attend workshops on cutting-edge technological innovations, receive mentorship from Huawei experts, and network with digital talent from over 100 countries.

The programme offers exposure to the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence, 5G, Green Tech, and other emerging digital technologies. Launched in 2008 in Thailand, Seeds for the Future has benefited more than 19,000 students across 142 countries.
