Saudi Launches Digital Service for Hajj 2025 Permits via Tawakkalna App

A new service has been launched by the Saudi government, allowing all official Hajj permits for 2025 to be displayed through the Tawakkalna app. This service is integrated with the unified digital platform “Tasreeh” for Hajj permits, recently launched by the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority.

The Tawakkalna app enables both domestic and international pilgrims to review all types of Hajj permits issued by Saudi government agencies. These permits include those for pilgrims, workers, volunteers, and vehicles involved in Hajj-related activities. The service is connected to the Ministry of Hajj through the “Nusuk” platform, further streamlining access to essential permits.

As part of its efforts to regulate pilgrim numbers, Saudi authorities are implementing strict measures to prevent unauthorized pilgrims, imposing heavy penalties, including fines, on violators. Last year, around 1.8 million pilgrims performed Hajj, with 1.6 million coming from abroad. All Muslims who are physically and financially able are required to perform Hajj at least once in their lifetime.
