TCS Partners with Jazeera Airways to Drive Digital Transformation and Enhance Passenger Experience

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services and consulting, has partnered with Jazeera Airways (JAZEERA.KW), Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier, to advance the airline’s digital transformation journey. Leveraging TCS’s expertise in agentic artificial intelligence (AI) and platform engineering, the collaboration aims to expand Jazeera’s digital capabilities, create new revenue streams, and deliver personalized customer experiences, reinforcing the airline’s position as an innovator in aviation.

As Jazeera Airways approaches two decades of operation, it is poised for significant growth through a comprehensive digital overhaul. TCS will lead the initiative by upgrading Jazeera’s website, mobile applications, and AI-powered chatbot. Employing an AI-native methodology, TCS will manage the entire transformation process—from product management and system architecture to agile development, integration, testing, and continuous optimization—aiming to redefine passenger experiences across all touchpoints.

Headquartered in Mumbai, India, and part of the Tata Group, TCS reported consolidated revenues of $30 billion for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.

Barathan Pasupathi, CEO of Jazeera Airways, stated, “TCS brings deep domain expertise in airline digital commerce and AI-driven solutions, coupled with a proven record of customer-centric innovation. Together, we are building a future-ready platform aligned with our growth goals, customer-focused strategy, and operational excellence.”

The digital transformation supports Jazeera Airways’ ambitious plans to triple passenger capacity and significantly boost direct digital revenue by 2029. The upgraded digital infrastructure is expected to enhance intelligent recognition of returning passengers, simplify group bookings online, and improve the airline’s Net Promoter Score (NPS), thereby elevating customer satisfaction to meet and exceed global standards.

Operating flights to over 60 destinations across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, and Europe, Jazeera Airways was launched in April 2004 as the Middle East’s first privately owned airline and now serves over 5 million passengers annually. This partnership marks the airline’s first major IT transformation.

K Krithivasan, CEO and Managing Director of TCS, remarked, “We are proud to partner with Jazeera Airways to build a future-ready digital foundation. By combining our aviation domain expertise with cutting-edge AI and engineering practices, TCS will deliver intelligent, intuitive, and scalable digital channels that empower the airline’s growth.”
