Sri Lanka’s Technocity Leadership Visits Computex 2025 to Accelerate AI Adoption

A forward-thinking senior management team from The Technocity Ltd., a leading IT distribution company in Sri Lanka, recently attended Computex 2025 in Taipei to align the company’s growth strategy with cutting-edge advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital infrastructure.

Led by Chairman and Managing Director Famy Ismail, alongside CEO Akram Badurdeen, Director – Distribution Gehan Thangappan, and Gaming and Components Director Mohamed Kadeer, the delegation underscored Technocity’s strategic commitment to driving AI integration throughout Sri Lanka’s digital ecosystem.

Representing over 20 international brands and partnering with Taiwanese innovators like ASUS, MSI, Corsair, ViewSonic, Raidmax, ADATA, and Gamdias, the Technocity team explored next-generation AI technologies, intelligent edge computing, smart enterprise solutions, and immersive gaming platforms, aiming to reshape Sri Lanka’s IT landscape.

As the country’s digital economy expands, The Technocity seeks to lead AI adoption across the island, currently engaging partners to introduce new products tailored to local market demands.

The visit also emphasized broadening supplier alliances, anticipating regional market trends, and positioning Sri Lanka as a future-ready IT hub in South Asia.
