Saudi Arabia’s unified digital platform, Tawakkalna, is playing a crucial role in supporting pilgrims during the 1446H Hajj season by providing a comprehensive suite of advanced digital services. The app enables pilgrims to access Hajj permits, including pilgrim permit cards, Makkah entry passes, and permits for workers, volunteers, and vehicles, through integration with the Tasreeh unified platform.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Tawakkalna offers access to the Nusuk card, simplifying verification processes and supporting pilgrims’ daily movements to enhance their overall experience.
Developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Tawakkalna was initially launched to assist government COVID-19 efforts. It now includes real-time weather updates for holy sites, Qibla direction, prayer times, and access to the Al-Quran, among other features that ensure a smooth and secure pilgrimage.
Available on major app stores, Tawakkalna aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 digital transformation goals, leveraging smart technologies to improve services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
