This milestone reinforces Vodafone Egypt’s leadership in innovation and digital empowerment, providing ultra-fast, low-latency connectivity that supports everything from interactive gaming to healthcare and industrial applications.
The expansive rollout covers over 2,000 sites nationwide, spanning Cairo to Upper Egypt and multiple governorates, with plans to rapidly extend coverage. The new network leverages Vodafone’s global 5G expertise and introduces pioneering technologies like the Adaptive Interference Free (AIF) system—a world-first innovation eliminating network interference to ensure superior performance.
Mohamed Abdallah, CEO of Vodacom International Markets and Vodafone Egypt, emphasized the launch as a historic step aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030 digital transformation goals. Vodafone offers 5G access to all customers at no extra cost, with simple activation via device settings for compatible devices, no SIM change needed.
Vodafone Egypt also showcased 5G capabilities at Insomnia Egypt, the nation’s largest gaming festival, highlighting its role in elevating user experiences. Recent accolades include topping independent network performance rankings by Umlaut for 2024 and 2025, affirming Vodafone’s commitment to excellence.
