Wipro Limited, a leading AI-driven technology services and consulting firm, has shifted its Middle East regional headquarters from Al Khobar to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The new Riyadh office was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Wipro’s executive team, employees, and customers, marking a significant milestone in the company’s regional expansion.
This move enhances Wipro’s growing presence in Saudi Arabia, complementing existing offices in Al Khobar, Jeddah, and Jubail. Mohammed AlRobayan, Deputy Minister for Technology at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), praised the relocation as a key contributor to accelerating the Kingdom’s digital economy and reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s appeal as a global tech hub aligned with Vision 2030 goals.
In parallel, Wipro signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) to establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Riyadh. The CoE aims to upskill Saudi nationals with advanced technology training, hands-on experience, and access to Wipro’s global resources, building a future-ready talent pipeline to benefit the kingdom and its organizations.
Vinay Firake, Wipro’s CEO for Asia Pacific, India, Middle East & Africa (APMEA), highlighted that the Riyadh headquarters strengthens the company’s commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s dynamic business environment and strategic growth objectives. The appointment of Mohamed Mousa as Managing Director for Wipro Middle East, based in Riyadh, will further enhance Wipro’s long-standing regional presence.
