Reuters Expands Digital Subscriptions to Eight New Countries with Affordable Access

Reuters has launched digital subscriptions for its acclaimed website and mobile app in eight new countries: United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Puerto Rico, Montenegro, Monaco, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. The subscription offers unlimited access to Reuters’ trusted, accurate, and unbiased news for the local currency equivalent of about USD $1 per week.

Subscribers benefit from a simple, transparent pricing model with no hidden discounts or automatic price increases, and the option to cancel anytime. Users can access a limited number of free articles monthly before being prompted to subscribe.

This expansion follows successful subscription launches across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Josh London, Head of Reuters Professional, emphasized Reuters’ global reach with 2,600 journalists covering critical news worldwide, offering subscribers reliable reporting grounded in the Thomson Reuters Trust Principles.

Reuters continues to deliver comprehensive, credible journalism from 200 global locations, ensuring subscribers stay informed on major global events with integrity and without bias.
