National Bank of Bahrain and Batelco Partner to Offer Integrated Connectivity and Payment Solutions for Businesses

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Batelco by Beyon to provide bundled service packages to business clients, enhancing Bahrain’s digital economy through secure fintech and connectivity integration. This strategic partnership combines Batelco’s corporate connectivity offerings with NBB’s SoftPOS application, ‘NBB GO,’ to deliver a seamless one-stop solution for managing both payment processing and communication needs.

NBB GO is an Android-based app that transforms any NFC-enabled smartphone into a secure POS terminal, enabling businesses to accept contactless card and mobile wallet payments without traditional hardware. Available on the Google Play Store, it offers merchants an accessible, secure, and cost-effective way to modernize payments and promote cashless transactions.

The collaboration empowers Bahraini businesses to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experiences by integrating fintech and connectivity services. Both organizations reaffirm their commitment to supporting economic growth by equipping enterprises with scalable, innovative tools that foster convenience and security.
