Algeria has unveiled 40 new vocational training programs in high-demand digital fields, including software development, cybersecurity, data and artificial intelligence, and digital marketing. Developed by 70 educators and experts in collaboration with the Algerian Digital Actors Group (GAAN) and national and international tech companies, these programs aim to bridge the digital skills gap and align education with labor market needs.
Government officials recently visited the Digital Excellence Center in Rahmania to engage with trainees and review innovative digital projects, showcasing the growing talent and innovation among Algeria’s youth. This initiative represents a strategic milestone in Algeria’s vocational training reform, supporting the country’s broader digital transformation goals.
The new programs are expected to boost employability and drive innovation-led growth within Algeria’s tech ecosystem, preparing the next generation for success in the global digital economy.
