City Bank customers in Bangladesh are now the first in the country to use Google Pay for contactless payments via Android NFC smartphones at POS terminals. This launch marks the debut of Google Wallet and Google Pay services in Bangladesh, a country with a population of 175.6 million.
Customers can add any City Bank-issued Mastercard or Visa credit, debit, or prepaid card to Google Wallet and make seamless, secure contactless payments using Google Pay. Apple Pay is not yet available in Bangladesh.
