Intelsat has deepened its collaboration with iKO Media Group (iKOMG) to enhance the delivery of faith-based content worldwide through the “Faith Beyond” initiative. Central to this effort is Intelsat’s Galaxy 19 (G-19) satellite, a key platform for free-to-air broadcasting across North America.
Faith Beyond, developed by iKOMG, offers an integrated distribution platform tailored to religious broadcasters seeking global reach and deeper audience engagement. The solution combines satellite broadcasting, OTT streaming, cloud-native playout, live event support, and metadata management—all powered by Galaxy 19’s high-capacity coverage.
Rashmin Abhani, SVP of Presale & Satellite Resource Management at iKOMG, emphasized that Faith Beyond empowers faith broadcasters with scalable, reliable tools to expand their audience and thrive in a competitive media environment.
Rhys Morgan, Intelsat’s RVP for the EMEA region, noted that iKOMG’s commitment to quality religious content aligns with Intelsat’s mission to support content providers and underscores the ongoing importance of linear TV and free-to-air platforms like Galaxy 19 in North America.
Galaxy 19 serves 5.7 million viewers with access to over 110 channels from 35 countries in 20+ languages. Besides faith programming, it offers entertainment, news, and free-ad-supported streaming content. Recent upgrades to the VideoNow electronic program guide enhance audience measurement, facilitating ad monetization for the direct-to-home free-to-air satellite market.
Unlike broadband-reliant services, Galaxy 19 reaches every household in North America, ensuring uninterrupted access regardless of internet availability.
