Gamezop Establishes Regional Headquarters in Bahrain to Expand Middle East Presence

Gamezop, a leading global gamification platform, has announced plans to establish its regional headquarters in Bahrain as part of its expansion into the Middle Eastern digital market. The company, headquartered in India, recently set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Bahrain with support from the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB). Gamezop intends to invest $4 million to accelerate operations, hire local talent, and pursue acquisitions to fuel its growth.

Backed by Bitkraft Ventures, a major video gaming venture capital firm, Gamezop integrates its gaming solutions across more than 9,000 platforms in over 70 countries, engaging over 45 million users monthly. With its new MENA headquarters, the company aims to strengthen its regional presence, build partnerships, and contribute to Bahrain’s goal of becoming a leading digital innovation hub in the Middle East.

Gamezop’s platform allows apps and websites to embed games that increase user engagement and generate revenue through in-game advertisements shared between Gamezop and host platforms. Founded in 2016 by Yashash and Gaurav Agarwal, the company views Bahrain as a strategic gateway to the Middle East’s rapidly growing digital landscape.

As part of its global growth strategy, Gamezop plans to onboard more than 1,000 new app and website partners from Bahrain and aims to double its group revenue within 18 months. Musab Abdulla, Executive Director of ICT at Bahrain EDB, praised Bahrain’s growing gaming and content ecosystem, highlighting the country’s robust digital infrastructure and supportive initiatives that attract innovative companies like Gamezop.

Gaurav Agarwal emphasized Bahrain’s strategic location, business-friendly environment, and access to the broader region as key factors for choosing the country. He expressed optimism that Bahrain would continue to attract global firms to establish regional hubs, supported by forward-looking policies and the proactive backing of the Bahrain EDB.

According to Agarwal, Bahrain offers an ideal platform to tap into the Middle East’s digital transformation, driven by high smartphone penetration, a young tech-savvy population, and increasing demand for interactive content. With thousands of consumer-facing apps and websites seeking ways to boost engagement and monetization, the MENA region represents a fertile market for Gamezop’s gamification solutions.
