The Ministry of Commerce has launched a dedicated platform to accelerate Pakistan’s digital trade and e-commerce ecosystem while enhancing regional business connectivity through digital corridors. The initiative was unveiled at the inaugural GLOBE Pakistan Summit by Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan, Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Commerce, in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
This platform represents Pakistan’s first formal effort to promote digital trade and regional integration. Commerce Secretary Jawad Paul emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a secure, globally integrated digital trade environment and supporting local businesses to expand internationally. Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch highlighted the importance of economic diplomacy and digital tools in strengthening regional partnerships and cross-border trade.
