Al Baida Group has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Elm Company, a leading Saudi digital solutions provider, aimed at strengthening cooperation on digital transformation projects for both public and private sectors in Qatar.
The MoU was formalized during Elm’s delegation visit to Qatar on July 14–15, which included meetings with multiple ministries and government agencies. These engagements highlighted Elm’s expertise and opened pathways for future collaboration aligned with Qatar’s vision for technological innovation and digital government services.
The partnership seeks to unify efforts in professional services—including consulting, data analytics, and artificial intelligence—as well as digital services, business support, and training initiatives. Elm brings extensive regional experience, while Al Baida Group leverages its five-decade presence and diversified operations in Qatar.
Eng. Ali bin Abdul Latif Al Mesned, Chairman of Al Baida Group, described the MoU as a strategic step to enhance Gulf-wide digitalization collaboration in line with Qatar’s national vision and the broader GCC goals to accelerate adoption of modern technologies and integrated government services.
Elm is a publicly listed Saudi joint-stock company on Tadawul, majority-owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), and a prominent regional leader in digital transformation. Al Baida Group is among Qatar’s largest companies, active across consultancy, construction, education, and logistics, employing over 4,000 people.
