Aeris Communications and Bridge Alliance Partner to Launch Aeris IoT Watchtower in Asia-Pacific

Aeris Communications, a global leader in secure cellular IoT solutions, and Bridge Alliance, a premier mobile network operator alliance across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa, announced an expanded partnership to offer Aeris IoT Watchtower. This agentless, frictionless platform delivers full visibility and control over enterprise IoT device cyber risks, enabling prevention and mitigation of attacks. The collaboration builds on Aeris’s existing cellular IoT connectivity management services for Bridge Alliance Member Operators through the Aeris IoT Accelerator platform.

Enterprises face rising cybersecurity threats targeting IoT devices, now the top focus for attackers according to Forrester. Despite rapid growth in cellular IoT deployments—1.1 billion devices globally with a 16% CAGR expected—current solutions lack comprehensive threat detection and control.

The Aeris IoT Watchtower, launching in Asia-Pacific with Bridge Alliance, features “Awareness” and “Enforcement” components that provide real-time breach detection, risk assessments, and operational insights, enhancing regulatory compliance and reducing incident impact. The solution is already available in the U.S. and Europe.

Bridge Alliance CEO Dr. Ong Geok Chwee highlighted the milestone for IoT security in APAC, aiming to expand Watchtower across the region. Aeris’s CCO Mark Cratsenburg emphasized the platform’s seamless integration requiring no special SIM cards or agents, offering enterprises end-to-end visibility and threat neutralization within existing cellular networks.

Bridge Alliance marks 20 years in 2024, representing 35 members serving over 1 billion customers, including major operators like Airtel, Singtel, Deutsche Telekom, and STC, enabling multi-market IoT solutions and roaming services.
