Mastercard has launched a strategic collaboration with Jordanian mobile wallet provider Dinarak to enable digital payment acceptance and advance financial inclusion. The partnership focuses on offering digital-first multi-currency prepaid cards and premium prepaid cards to underserved populations.
Meqbel Maghaireh, Vice-Chairman of Dinarak, stated, “We are on a mission to build a mobile payments business that provides millions of unbanked people in Jordan access to financial services and transforms lives through financial inclusion. Our collaboration with Mastercard will deliver a fast, seamless, and secure payment experience. It also supports closing the financial inclusion gender gap by leveraging Jordan’s strong mobile penetration.”
