Qatar’s Supreme Judiciary Council Launches Electronic Payment Services with QNB

The Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) of Qatar has introduced its first package of electronic payment services in partnership with Qatar National Bank (QNB), featuring an integrated payment gateway to facilitate judicial procedures. This system enables safe, fast, and convenient digital payment of deposits and judicial fees.

The launch of the Court Secretariat Development Project’s first phase offers payment channels supporting various card types and modern payment options, including Apple Pay, Mastercard, Visa, Himyan cards, and more. Users can pay court fees, execution requests, and deposits via the Courts Portal, Courts app, mobile apps, ATMs, and QNB’s e-portal, which will be introduced in a subsequent phase.

The e-payment platform allows individuals to pay for themselves or others using Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, local NAPS, Himyan cards, and Apple Pay. It supports smart features such as partial payments in certain cases and payment via SMS links, while sending notifications and providing financial reports to relevant authorities.

SJC emphasizes that this launch marks a significant step towards delivering prompt justice digitally and easing litigation services, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030’s goals to enhance digital infrastructure and government service efficiency.

Since the Enforcement Law’s enactment in November 2024, the Enforcement Court has rolled out extensive electronic services via the Courts Portal and app, improving enforcement operations significantly with advanced digital procedures.
