KUNA Acting Director General Visits Huawei Headquarters to Strengthen Digital Media Collaboration

SHENZHEN, China — Mohammad Al-Mannai, Acting Director General of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), visited the headquarters of Chinese technology giant Huawei in Shenzhen on Sunday during his official trip to China.

The visit reflects KUNA’s strategic commitment to integrating cutting-edge digital solutions and adopting advanced technologies to elevate media content production.

During the visit, Al-Mannai held discussions with Dai Xing, Huawei’s Deputy CEO for the Northern Gulf, focusing on potential cooperation in digital infrastructure, media tools, and professional training programs designed to enhance the skills of KUNA’s editorial and technical teams.

Highlighting the critical role of digital innovation in modern media, Al-Mannai stressed the need for partnerships with leading technology companies like Huawei to advance data analytics and improve audience engagement.

The delegation toured Huawei’s exhibitions and Research & Development Center, gaining insights into the latest innovations in automation and digital media technologies.

This visit took place alongside KUNA’s participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Media and Think Tank Forum in Zhengzhou, China. The delegation also included Acting Editor-in-Chief Mohammad Al-Bahar and Director of Marketing and Public Relations Lamia Al-Farsi.
