Aramco has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cloudera, a leading hybrid platform for data, analytics, and AI, to collaborate on developing AI-powered solutions that advance the digital transformation of Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas industry.
The partnership aims to localize cutting-edge technologies, create new business opportunities, and promote sustainable growth. A key focus is upskilling Saudi talent in data engineering, data science, and analytics through tailored training programs designed to meet the kingdom’s workforce needs.

The joint efforts will leverage Cloudera’s platform alongside Aramco’s industry expertise to enhance operational efficiency, unlock new insights, and deliver business value via advanced data management, security, and analytics.
The MoU also includes plans to explore collaborative R&D initiatives focused on big data, AI, and emerging technologies, fueling innovation in digital oil and gas applications.
Cloudera’s hybrid data-cloud solutions provide a secure, unified platform for real-time analytics and governance, aligning with Aramco’s vision for data and AI leadership.
