COMEX 2025 to Spotlight Oman’s National Identity Through New Strategic Partnership

Muscat, Oman — The Arabian Research Bureau (ARB), organiser of Oman’s flagship technology and innovation expo COMEX, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Unified Promotional Identity Office under the “Nazdhar” National Programme for Private Sector Development & Foreign Trade.

The agreement was formalised by Amr Abdullah Baabood, CEO of ARB, and H.E. Dr. Fares bin Turki Al Said, Acting Director of the Unified Promotional Identity Office. The collaboration will embed Oman’s national promotional identity into COMEX 2025, using innovative visual and communication elements to highlight the Sultanate’s unique cultural brand within a forward-looking, technology-driven setting.

Baabood described the partnership as a strategic fusion of national identity and innovation, noting that aligning Oman’s vision with technological progress will help position the country as a magnet for talent, investment, and high-impact tech projects.

“At COMEX, we proudly celebrate Omani identity as an essential part of the event’s spirit. By integrating the national promotional identity into the exhibition, we showcase Oman’s uniqueness and distinction across the region,” he added.

COMEX 2025, now in its 34th edition, will run from 8–11 September 2025 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport, Communications & Information Technology. The annual event attracts global companies and industry leaders in AI, smart cities, cybersecurity, and other advanced technology sectors, serving as a key platform to promote economic and investment opportunities in Oman.
