Saudi Arabia’s Absher Platform Processes Over 43 Million Transactions in July

Riyadh — The Ministry of Interior’s digital platform Absher facilitated 43,439,206 electronic transactions for beneficiaries during July 2025, underscoring its central role in Saudi Arabia’s e-government ecosystem.

Breakdown of Transactions

  • Absher Individuals platform: 40,650,713 transactions
    • Includes 33,387,591 document reviews via the digital wallet for citizens, residents, and visitors.
  • Absher Business platform: 2,788,493 transactions.

Sector-Specific Services

  • General Directorate of Public Security: 3,679,429 transactions
    • General Department of Traffic: 3,586,290
    • General Directorate of Passports: 2,769,794
    • Civil Status Agency: 664,096

Through Absher Individuals’ public services, the platform also recorded:

  • 146,212 reports via the Absher Reports service
  • 3,591 document delivery requests by mail
  • 2,287 fingerprint inquiries

Digital Identity Milestone

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the number of unified digital identities issued via Absher has surpassed 28 million. These identities allow seamless access to Ministry services through Absher Individuals, Absher Business, and Absher Government, while also connecting to over 500 government and private entities via the National Unified Access Portal (Nafath).

This achievement highlights Absher’s role as a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation, providing reliable, secure, and efficient access to essential government services.
