Barwa Developments Partners with Telecom Egypt to Deliver Smart Infrastructure Across Projects

Barwa Developments has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Telecom Egypt (WE) to integrate advanced communication and smart technology solutions across all its developments. The partnership aims to provide seamless, future-ready digital infrastructure that aligns with Egypt’s digital transformation vision and international smart city standards.

The agreement was signed by Ahmed Alsakoot, Senior Director of Enterprise at Telecom Egypt, and Ahmed Rageh, Chairman of Barwa Developments. Rageh emphasized that the collaboration underscores Barwa’s strategy to deliver fully integrated, modern projects powered by cutting-edge technology, ensuring customers benefit from efficiency, innovation, and superior digital experiences.

Alsakoot noted that Telecom Egypt remains committed to equipping real estate projects with the latest communication services, supporting the shift toward smart cities and enhancing Egypt’s position in digital infrastructure. The partnership will see Telecom Egypt’s networks and advanced technologies deployed across Barwa’s portfolio.

Amr Attia, Chief Commercial Officer at Barwa Developments, added that the partnership will not only improve operational efficiency but also enhance the investment value of Barwa’s projects by ensuring high-quality, technologically advanced environments for individuals and businesses.

Barwa Developments, known for its mixed-use projects, currently manages four commercial malls in Shorouk City—Hub5 Mall, Barwa Mall, Central Mall, and Center Point—alongside several residential projects. The new collaboration aims to elevate these developments with smart connectivity, boosting their attractiveness and long-term value.
