Djezzy Launches Open Innovation Challenge 2025 to Drive Inclusive Digital Transformation in Algeria

Algiers – Djezzy has announced the launch of its Open Innovation Challenge 2025, inviting startups, researchers, students, and innovators to develop technological solutions that promote digital inclusion, reduce inequalities, and connect underserved populations to the opportunities of digital transformation.

The initiative is designed to strengthen Algeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting projects that address critical issues such as urbanization, sustainability, and equitable access to digital services. Djezzy emphasizes responsible innovation, encouraging the creation of solutions with positive social and environmental impact while accelerating their experimentation, market launch, and large-scale deployment.

Open to startups, microenterprises, engineers, professionals in retraining, as well as students and researchers, the challenge seeks innovative digital solutions that make technology more accessible and impactful for communities. Proposals will be judged on their relevance, feasibility, originality, technological depth, alignment with Djezzy’s priorities, and the qualifications of the team behind them.

The winning project will receive a grant of 200,000 DZD along with access to Djezzy’s network, resources, and expertise. Participants will also benefit from mentorship, partnerships with experts and institutions, and opportunities to engage with Algeria’s broader innovation ecosystem.

By launching this challenge, Djezzy aims to co-create impactful solutions with local talent, capture emerging market signals, and foster a more inclusive and socially responsible digital future for Algeria.
