Ooredoo Partners with Google Cloud and Mindware to Launch Google Workspace in Oman

Ooredoo has announced a landmark partnership with Google Cloud and Mindware at COMEX 2025 to introduce Google Workspace to enterprises and SMEs across Oman. This makes Ooredoo the first telecom operator in the Sultanate to deliver Google Workspace solutions, reinforcing its role in driving national digital transformation and opening doors to global technology partnerships.

The initiative supports Oman’s Vision 2040 by accelerating digital adoption, boosting ICT growth, enhancing SME competitiveness, and integrating advanced AI capabilities. Google Workspace bundles will empower businesses of all sizes to collaborate more effectively, increase productivity, and harness generative AI innovations through Gemini for Gmail and other Workspace tools.

Saied Al Lawati, Acting Chief Business & Wholesale Officer at Ooredoo, highlighted that this step provides customers with access to “cutting-edge collaboration and AI innovation,” ensuring they have the tools to thrive in a connected economy. Ghassan Kosta, Regional GM at Google Cloud, emphasized the partnership’s role in supporting Oman’s digital economy, noting that Workspace with Gemini enables organizations to innovate, scale securely, and meet evolving demands.

The collaboration leverages the strengths of all three entities: Google Cloud delivers the Workspace platform with Gemini-powered AI; Ooredoo provides localized customer support, seamless access, and billing; and Mindware brings deep expertise in regional cloud enablement. Together, they aim to equip Omani businesses with world-class collaboration and AI-driven productivity tools.
