Academy X Graduates Second Cohort, Empowering Young Kuwaiti Women in Tech and Entrepreneurship

Academy X, a Kuwait-based initiative designed to empower young women in technology and entrepreneurship, has celebrated the graduation of its second cohort. Sponsored by Talabat and led by Kuwait’s coding academy CODED, the program brought together Kuwaiti female students aged 14–18 who developed over 50 creative tech projects.

Participants showcased skills in artificial intelligence, app and web development, UI/UX design, and entrepreneurship fundamentals, alongside leadership and soft skills training. The initiative reflects Kuwait’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of female leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Bader Al-Ghanim, Vice President and Managing Director of Talabat Kuwait, commended the students for their dedication and emphasized Talabat’s commitment to supporting girls in STEM. He highlighted the program’s alignment with New Kuwait Vision 2035, noting that investing in youth talent is an investment in the country’s digital future and regional growth.

Hashim Behbehani, co-founder and COO of CODED, praised Talabat’s partnership, calling it integral to the program’s success and an example of how socially responsible institutions can advance Kuwait’s innovation ecosystem.

The Academy X program continues to grow, with its third cohort scheduled for later in 2025, further expanding opportunities for young Kuwaiti women to thrive in the tech sector.
