Kalaam Telecom and Riedel Networks Renew Partnership to Boost Motorsport and Enterprise Connectivity in MENA

Kalaam Telecom Group’s wholesale arm, Kalaam Carrier Solutions (KCS), has extended its strategic partnership with Riedel Networks for another three years, reinforcing their joint mission to deliver high-performance connectivity for major motorsport events and enterprises across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Since 2022, the collaboration has supported seamless connectivity for races in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, anchored by a key Point of Presence (POP) in Manama, Bahrain. This POP, integrated with Kalaam’s fully-owned KNOT terrestrial cable system, links directly to Riedel’s global backbone, creating a resilient, low-latency network that powers both live events and enterprise operations.

Beyond motorsport, the partnership has strengthened network access and resilience for industries such as finance, energy, logistics, and media, enabling secure, high-capacity connections between regional operations and global hubs.

The renewed agreement will expand infrastructure with additional interconnection points and services, further enhancing support for broadcasters, enterprises, and digital platforms. Both partners emphasized Bahrain’s growing role as a digital hub, highlighting the Kingdom’s strategic importance for global connectivity.

Veer Passi, Group CEO of Kalaam Telecom, noted that Kalaam is proud to be the trusted partner for global motorsport and enterprises, while Michael Martens, CEO of Riedel Networks, stressed the partnership’s role in scaling premium connectivity services for corporate and event customers across the region.
