Muscat, Oman – Vodafone Oman has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Software Group, a global leader in digital financial service platforms, to accelerate the development of innovative financial solutions in the Sultanate. The partnership aligns with Oman’s Vision 2040, which prioritizes digital transformation, financial inclusion, and sustainable growth.
The collaboration will leverage Software Group’s DigiWave Digital Banking Platform and digital channels—including mobile wallets, agency banking, internet banking, and digital lending—integrated into Vodafone Oman’s ecosystem. The goal is to deliver secure, customer-centric services that enhance accessibility, empower individuals and businesses, and support the wider financial ecosystem, including banks, fintechs, and government agencies.
Sayyid Fahad Abdul Aziz Saud Al-Busaidi, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Vodafone Oman, emphasized that financial services are at the heart of Vodafone’s mission to remove barriers for customers. “By working together, we will combine global expertise with our digital-first approach to deliver meaningful solutions for customers in Oman and support the long-term growth of the sector,” he said.
Kalin Radev, CEO of Software Group, highlighted the partnership’s potential to extend financial access to underserved populations, stimulate economic participation, and advance Oman’s Vision 2040 goals.
