MetLife Bangladesh Introduces 24-Hour Digital Policy Document Delivery

MetLife Bangladesh has launched a new service enabling customers to receive digital copies of their insurance policy documents within 24 hours of submitting an application, subject to certain requirements. The initiative is being hailed as a breakthrough for customer-centric innovation in the country’s insurance industry.

Previously, customers had to wait several days to receive only paper-based policy documents after risk assessments. Now, they will receive both a digital version via email within 24 hours and a printed version thereafter.

The digital policy document includes the customer’s application forms, policy details, a personalized welcome letter, and terms and conditions. This ensures secure storage and easy access, streamlining the customer experience.

“By introducing the 24-hour digital policy document issuance, we are not just speeding up a process; we are reimagining how customers experience insurance,” said Ala Ahmad, CEO of MetLife Bangladesh.
