TASHKENT / MUSCAT — A delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan, accompanied by startups Detecting AI, BRB Tech, and Fleetroot, signed multiple cooperation memoranda with Omani companies during Comex Technology Show 2025 in Muscat, advancing bilateral innovation ties and opening doors to new Gulf market opportunities.
The agreements include opening new offices in Uzbekistan, launching pilot projects, and developing joint educational and acceleration programs. Comex, held 8–11 September, is Oman’s largest technology exhibition and a flagship platform of the Vision 2040 strategy.
Fleetroot showcased its delivery management and IoT solutions, attracting interest from Omantel and Gulf Business Solutions, with prospects of regional pilot projects in logistics. Detecting AI, known for its platform that detects AI-generated content for 250,000+ global users, initiated collaboration with Omani firm M-Tech.ai to roll out its solutions in education. Meanwhile, BRB Tech pitched its “Credit Monitoring” and “Business 24/7” platforms to major Omani banks, receiving strong interest for financial sector integration.
Beyond startup pitches, the Uzbek delegation met with leading Omani innovation players including Omantel Innovation Labs, Al Jabr, Phaze Ventures, Oman Investment Authority, and Golden Gate Ventures. Discussions focused on joint acceleration programs, startup exchanges, investment opportunities, and support frameworks for scaling Uzbek solutions in the Gulf.
Several Omani firms, such as Gadoba and Novatelia, announced plans to establish offices in Uzbekistan, further deepening bilateral cooperation.
