Kalaam Carrier Solutions and Riedel Networks Extend Strategic Partnership to Power Mission-Critical Connectivity Across MENA

Kalaam Telecom Group’s wholesale division, Kalaam Carrier Solutions (KCS), has renewed its strategic partnership with Riedel Networks for another three years, reinforcing their joint commitment to delivering mission-critical connectivity for major sporting events, media, and enterprises across the Middle East and North Africa.

The renewed agreement builds on the successful collaboration from 2022 to 2024, during which KCS and Riedel Networks delivered high-performance connectivity for leading motorsport events across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. Central to this partnership is a Point of Presence (PoP) in Manama, Bahrain, directly integrated with Kalaam’s terrestrial KNOT cable system, the region’s only fully owned terrestrial network. This provides a resilient 100% land-based route, seamlessly linked with Riedel’s global backbone.

The collaboration has simplified regional access to international networks while enhancing resilience and security, benefiting sectors such as finance, energy, and logistics. Enterprises and event organizers now enjoy secure, high-capacity, and low-latency connectivity tailored to their mission-critical needs.

“As a Bahraini company, Kalaam is proud to serve as the connectivity partner of choice for the world’s premier motorsport series,” said Veer Passi, Group CEO of Kalaam Telecom. “Riedel Networks’ decision to anchor their Middle East hub in Bahrain underscores the Kingdom’s growing role as a regional digital gateway.”

Michael Martens, CEO of Riedel Networks, added: “Our partnership with Kalaam has enabled us to deliver premium connectivity for international motorsport while addressing enterprise needs across MENA. With this renewal, we aim to further expand joint services for global event customers and enterprises.”

Looking ahead, the partnership will add new interconnection points and roll out additional services designed for enterprises, broadcasters, and digital platforms, further cementing Bahrain’s position as a key hub for advanced digital communications.
