Algeria Launches “DZ Travellers” Digital Platform to Support Citizens Abroad

Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has unveiled “DZ Travellers”, a new online platform designed to assist Algerian citizens traveling overseas. Launched on September 25, the service provides centralized access to emergency information, risk guidance, and consular support during crises.

The Ministry emphasized that the initiative reflects government directives to strengthen mechanisms that safeguard citizens abroad while enhancing the efficiency of consular services. It also aligns with Algeria’s National Digital Transformation Strategy, which prioritizes e-services and the digitization of administrative systems.

By consolidating key resources, DZ Travellers is expected to improve responsiveness in emergencies, streamline consular operations, and enhance risk prevention for Algerians living or traveling outside the country. The platform marks a significant step in Algeria’s broader drive to modernize public services and crisis management through digital innovation.
