Batelco by Beyon has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry to enhance support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), reinforcing their role as vital contributors to Bahrain’s economy.
The agreement reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to create an enabling environment that fosters SME competitiveness, particularly in a business landscape increasingly driven by digital innovation. The collaboration will focus on encouraging the wider adoption of advanced connectivity solutions and expanding opportunities for SMEs to scale and succeed.
Maitham Abdulla, CEO of Batelco, highlighted the company’s vision: “By equipping SMEs with reliable connectivity and advanced network services, we aim to strengthen their competitiveness and contribute to sustainable economic growth. Both organizations stressed that the MoU not only strengthens ties between Batelco and the Chamber but also supports Bahrain’s long-term economic development by enabling SMEs to play an active role in the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving digital economy.
