MUSCAT – The Royal Academy of Management (RAM), in partnership with the Rising Omani Startups Programme, has launched the Startup Leadership Programme 2025, a flagship six-month initiative designed to empower executive leaders of Omani startups to accelerate growth and expand into international markets.
Running from August 2025 to January 2026, the programme currently hosts 18 participants and is tailored for founders and executives of innovative, tech-driven startups. Structured into four modules—strategic leadership, financial planning, growth strategies, and talent management—the initiative blends academic rigor with practical learning, offering workshops, case studies, mentoring, applied projects, and international field visits.
Dr. Fathiya bint Abdullah al Rashdiyah, Vice-President for Programme Affairs at RAM, said the programme reflects Royal Directives to nurture entrepreneurship and SMEs, equipping leaders with the skills and confidence to compete globally. She noted the mix of expert-led sessions and field visits will give participants exposure to global best practices and investor networks.
Qais bin Rashid al Toobi, General Supervisor of the Rising Omani Startups Programme, emphasized its role in strengthening Oman’s entrepreneurship ecosystem: “This initiative positions Omani startups as global success stories by equipping founders with advanced leadership skills for sustainable growth and international expansion in line with Oman Vision 2040.”
Participants are expected to emerge with enhanced leadership capabilities, refined growth strategies, stronger organizational cultures, and expanded international networks. By embedding innovation, global exposure, and responsible leadership, RAM aims to drive sustainable socio-economic development and reinforce Oman’s competitiveness on the global stage.
