BENEFIT and ATME Announce Sponsorship of Fintech Forward 2025 in Bahrain

Manama – September 30, 2025 – BENEFIT Company (BENEFIT), Bahrain’s leading innovator in financial technology and electronic payment services, has confirmed its role as a gold sponsor for Fintech Forward 2025 (FF25), while ATME, a Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB)-licensed digital assets exchange, has joined as a silver sponsor.

The third edition of Bahrain’s flagship fintech forum will be held on October 8–9 at Exhibition World Bahrain, hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB). FF25 will serve as a global platform for fintech innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing, bringing together industry leaders, governments, and regulators.

As a gold sponsor, BENEFIT continues to reinforce its leadership in shaping Bahrain’s digital economy. The company has been instrumental in modernising the Kingdom’s payments infrastructure, advancing financial inclusion, and introducing secure, seamless transaction systems. Notable achievements include the launch of Bahrain’s National Electronic Fund Transfer System (EFTS), progress in open banking services, and innovative digital products that strengthen Bahrain’s standing as a regional fintech hub. In the first half of 2025 alone, BENEFIT processed 242.7 million transactions worth BHD 18.2 billion, marking an 11% year-on-year increase.

ATME, meanwhile, has been at the forefront of Bahrain’s digital asset sector. Licensed by the CBB, the exchange introduced the country’s first tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) with gold-backed tokens. Since its official launch at Fintech Forward 2024, ATME has focused on democratizing access to previously illiquid assets through fractional ownership, while creating new financing avenues for businesses by lowering barriers to entry.

Bahrain’s financial services sector remains the largest contributor to GDP and continues to benefit from progressive regulation, a skilled workforce, and a fintech-ready ecosystem. FF25 will further this momentum by showcasing regional and global trends in financial innovation, policy, and infrastructure.
