Commvault, a global leader in cyber resilience and data protection solutions for hybrid cloud environments, has appointed Dr Mazen Abduljabbar as Country Manager for Saudi Arabia. In his new role, Dr Abduljabbar will oversee growth, strategy, and customer engagement within Commvault’s Emerging Markets division.
With more than 25 years of experience in business development and leadership, Dr Abduljabbar has previously served as Executive Customer Director at Alstom Saudi Arabia and Executive Director of Business Development at Siemens KSA, where he managed large-scale projects and fostered strong client partnerships.
Commenting on his appointment, Dr Abduljabbar said he is honored to join Commvault at a time when cyber resilience is a vital business priority. “Commvault plays a critical role in helping enterprises achieve continuous business operations and long-term resilience. I look forward to collaborating with our customers and partners to strengthen cyber resilience across the Kingdom,” he stated.
Yahya Kassab, Senior Director and General Manager for the Gulf & KSA at Commvault, welcomed the appointment, noting Dr Abduljabbar’s proven record in leadership and customer engagement. “His expertise will be instrumental in supporting organizations across Saudi Arabia as they enhance their cyber resilience strategies,” Kassab said.
Dr Abduljabbar holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from University Technology MARA in Malaysia and an MBA from King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia, combining academic excellence with decades of strategic and operational leadership.
