Presight, a global leader in artificial intelligence and big data analytics, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST) to accelerate AI adoption and digital transformation across Bahrain and the wider region. The partnership aims to foster innovation in key sectors, including smart cities, public safety, and digital government.
The agreement was signed by Presight CEO Thomas Pramotedham and NCST CEO Dr Abdulla Naser Hasan Al Noaimi, in the presence of Presight Vice Chairman Mansoor Al Mansoori, COO Dr Adel Al Sharji, and NCST Executive Advisor for AI & Data Science Dr Jassim Haji.
NCST’s AI Research and Development team will collaborate closely with Presight to drive applied research, develop innovative AI solutions, and strengthen partnerships with regional and international institutions. The initiative supports Bahrain’s vision to become a regional hub for data-driven innovation and scientific advancement.
Dr Al Noaimi emphasized that the partnership underscores NCST’s commitment to advancing research and innovation through integration with leading technology partners. Pramotedham added that Presight is dedicated to accelerating data-driven transformation across the region, applying AI to create smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions.
The collaboration will also establish specialized task forces to explore joint projects, organize innovation workshops, and design AI pilots with measurable impact. Both organizations reaffirmed their shared mission to position AI as a cornerstone of national progress and sustainable development in Bahrain.
