Bahraini Students Impress at GITEX Global 2025 with Innovative Tech Solutions

Bahraini students made a strong impression at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, showcasing groundbreaking innovations and technological solutions as part of the third edition of the “Tech Innovators” initiative. The program, supported by GFH Financial Group, CrediMax, BMMI, and Khaleeji Bank, aims to empower Bahraini youth from universities across the Kingdom to present their talent on a global stage.

Organized by the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) in cooperation with WorkSmart Events Management, the students exhibited their projects at the International Business Hub, highlighting creative applications in ICT, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. Their work demonstrated Bahrain’s growing capability in research, innovation, and youth-led entrepreneurship.

During the exhibition, the students also visited Dubai Port to participate in Youth X, an initiative that fosters innovation and communication skills among young entrepreneurs. Activities included the “Talent Fusion” event and a tour of Expand North Star, offering exposure to startup ecosystems and networking opportunities with global investors.

BTECH Chairman Rashed Abdulla Alsnan praised the students’ performance, calling their participation “a reflection of Bahrain’s investment in technology education and its commitment to advancing the knowledge economy.” He added that initiatives like Tech Innovators help prepare Bahraini youth for global competition and entrepreneurship.

WorkSmart CEO Ahmed Al Hujairy emphasized the importance of such experiences in expanding the horizons of young innovators, saying, “This platform enables Bahraini students to engage directly with international markets and explore emerging technologies that inspire their future ventures.”

Through this initiative, Bahrain continues to strengthen its reputation as a regional hub for innovation, youth empowerment, and digital excellence.
