Faisal Al Jalahma has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of Umniah, in addition to continuing his role as Chief Human Resources Officer at Beyon. In this dual capacity, Al Jalahma is responsible for leading Umniah’s strategic operations while driving group-wide human capital transformation and growth initiatives across Beyon’s diversified portfolio.
With nearly two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, Al Jalahma has earned recognition for leading major business transformations that align operations with international best practices. He played a pivotal role in Beyon’s evolution from a traditional telecom operator into a digital technology group, spearheading the launch of its digital subsidiaries and overseeing restructuring efforts that resulted in the creation of Bnet as a separate entity.
At Beyon, Al Jalahma also manages the group’s real estate investments and portfolio, leveraging synergies across subsidiaries to optimize operational performance and strategic value creation.
Before joining Beyon, he served as Director of Finance, IT, and HR at Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), where he led digital transformation initiatives to automate internal systems and enhance operational efficiency. He was also a key member of the Steering Committee for Bahrain’s Fourth National Telecommunications Plan (NTP4), contributing to the Kingdom’s long-term digital strategy.
Al Jalahma holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde (UK) and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, and London Business School, underscoring his strong academic and leadership credentials.
His appointment as Interim CEO comes at a strategic time for Umniah, as the company continues to expand under the “Umniah by Beyon” brand — a key milestone in Beyon’s unified regional growth strategy.
